phrunt
On beaches here I can walk for 10 minutes and not get a target, so having something like an 11" coil makes the beach quite intimidating, throwing on an 18" coil with that extra depth and ground coverage seems worth the extra weight, and seeing I am using a GPZ, GPX and CTX often, having a coil just under a kilo is no big deal at all, if I get too bothered I'd throw on Doc's Swingy thingy kit and be fine as any coil is a feather weight then but I doubt I'd need it.  I find after using heavier stuff for some time it gets easier, at the start you feel it most, over time it gets easy, build up some muscles in all the right places and it's all good. 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26405-new-from-coiltek-next-week%F0%9F%98%8E/page/5/#findComment-279258 Share on other sites
