When I was a full timer, the WA heat drove me out by mid Oct usually....and that was when I was in my 20's. Now in my late 50's, i wouldn't dream of suffering mid-high 30's temp (Celcius), walking 20km per day! Although living in the Philippines will acclimatize you to heat....sticky heat though.
