Deus II RC

Well I bit the bullet and bought the Remote Control for the DEUS II 🙂  I was just using the WS6 but because I liked that so well I figured why not! I do fresh water lake detecting as well as parks and because the RC is fully water proof I can feel safer 🙂 . But now for the head phones can I just use the wireless WS6 head set or do I need to get another set? I will now be reading all information on setting up the RC with savable programs here! Thank you guys for being so helpful 🙂 This is where first came when I got my garret and ledgend and you guys rock the information 🙂

You can use the WS6, but it becomes a "slave" rather than a "master". Pairing instructions are in the manual, and you might lose your programs on the WS6 when you are connected to the RC, should you go back to using the WS6 Master. Wish I was sure. 🫤

I have the WSA-II headphones for my RCs and WS6's. I have the WSA-XL headphones as well. 🙂 

All XP headphones are water resistant, but not waterproof except for the BH-01 bone conduction headphones.

F350 gave you sound advice.  If you don't submerge them, the WSA II-XL are great.  If you plan to submerge them, go with the BH-01 or get a set of Tony Eisenhowser headphones.  I have those and they are super wired headphones.

The only thing I don't like about the BH-01 bone conduction is that: 

You cannot use High Square in any program.

It's not that big a deal, I use them in the water when I'm going to submerge the detector. Aluminum is harder to recognize but really there isn't much of it to worry about.

I wonder if anyone has tried high square with other aftermarket waterproof headphones... 🤔 However the same would apply if you select the BH-01 connection.

Once the RC goes under water I do not believe the wireless phones will receive so a waterproof connector and phones will be required. Not necessarily bone phones though. There are options.
