This bushwalk was done about 2001 with a work mate that was about 20 years younger than me. He got killed at work when a faulty High Voltage Circuit breaker unit malfunction and exploded when he was restoring it for service six years ago.

The location of the walk is in the Victorian High Country.

Nice photo's Geof......from my limited bush-walking, I always discovered the hard way that every "nearby" ridge-line was never that. If something looks like it's a 2 hour hike then it usually means it will be a 4 hour slog.

The Stirling Ranges in southern Western Australia was a good example of that.
