Popular Post F350Platinum
Got out to my big beach today, long hunt. The only other detectorist I saw today was in the water. He checked in with me later kinda disappointed, but he did get one ring. 👍 Nice guy. Got out there early, beautiful morning, weather was great and Debby had just trashed the place. The flood line was higher than I've ever seen it, but it was high tide when I got there so the lower cut wasn't visible. Hung out there 7 hours, talked to people, and just bashed around on the higher beach until the tide got low, then hunted the waters edge. I did pretty good, only got 40 coins today instead of the 60 last week, no silver, but some of my other finds were pretty impressive. The large aluminum token has a gear shape stamped in it, and says "50" on the top and "FIFTY" on the bottom. No clue what it might be for. Got the usual toys and bling, including a pretty nice plated ring. Glad I'm still on my Hot Wheels streak. 🙄 Trash was pretty heavy, lots of lead and some hot rocks that hit in the 80s on the D2. My favorite find of the day was this working, stainless Michael Kors watch for my wife, they sold for around $250. I'd say it paid for my gas and parking 😎 27
schoolofhardNox
I'm in envy of you beach hunting 😄. I can't wait to get back out there. Some of those coins had some nice green age to them, so silver was a possibility. I'm hating China for making such realistic junk rings these days. It was better in the old days when something that was gold was actually gold! These days it's a surprise if it actually is real gold. But you scored big time points with the wife by finding that watch. You're golden for a while!
Valens Legacy
Great addition to the car lot! That CZ ring I have seen go for over $200.00 in several places. For being fake they are of good quality. Good luck on your next hunt, but with you I don't even have to say that. Your skills are very good and you know what your machine is telling you most of the time. 1

Thanks! 🙂 Soon enough Sir School, you'll be making me look like a Piker when your season starts, shame they have regulations up there. 🥲 I felt sorry for the water hunter, got me a few good bits earlier in the year out there. My wife did like the watch, I'll have to adjust it for her wrist. It's pretty big and heavy. Thankfully it was in the dry so it didn't get corroded or damaged. I've pretty much earned my "Carte Blanche" badge this year with her 😁 Honestly I'm eager to get back in the farms again, I'm as excited for the hunt for new permissions in the early fall as I am for hunting them later. I hope the winter warming trend continues.

Sadly the plating is coming off in some spots, I'm impressed that all the stones are still there. It was a 65 on the Deus, either a newer nickel signal or a pull tab. I dig every mid to high tone in the water, even got some pull tabs from the Revolution. The tropical storm did odd damage, both uncovering old junk in the dry, and putting fine silt at the waters' edge. I think I remember some of the deep beer cans that were over a foot down. May they rest in peace, I'm paying to be there. 😏 I'm pretty much in stride with the Deus now, generally my good finds exceed the junk count. I'm always happy to get at least one of each US coin as that shows me plainly I'm not missing much. The Deus 2 is a big fan of dimes and toy cars especially.
Lodge Scent
Looks like you are having a great time F350! It's nice when you finally meld with your machine and it feels like an extension of you. It gives you that feeling of confidence and control. I got to that point with my D1 but I'm just not quite there yet with my D2. Soon though. I feel it coming. 😁 Lodge

I fear another upgrade might throw me off but who knows, it might also throw me forward. 🤔 The last one sure did. I think you're doing great, what you've posted of late is awesome. 👍 The more you get out there, the better you get. Hit the beach man! 🍀

VL is right, they are expensive up front but pretty much worthless when they lose plating. 🫡
