D&P-OR
Does anyone have a "trick" they use to keep the coil bolt tight on the Manticore?-----It keeps coming loose when swinging/hunting.
phrunt
Never had the problem myself but I'd try some plumbers Teflon tape and see how that goes locking the thread tight. Maybe your bolt or coil thread is slightly out of spec? I assume if you had another bolt from another coil you would have tried it.
Rattlehead
The one on my first Manticore kept coming loose. The one on my current Manticore doesn’t. No idea why.
D&P-OR
I thought about trying Teflon tape on the bolt--guess I'll give that a try.-----My wife & I are both using the 9" (M9) coils on our Manticores and the bolts have been coming loose on both of them. Hunterjunk
Yep had this problem from day one . I tighten it to where I want and then pass a small cable tie through the yoke and the eye of the bolt .

Thanks Hunter----If the Teflon tape doesn't do the trick I'll do your cable tie solution.-----Thanks to all who responded to this---at least I know I'm not the only one that has been having this problem/inconvenience.
Skookum
I have this problem as well. It doesn’t take very long before it’s loosened up too much and needs retightening.
Kenman
I am just spitballing but has anyone tried Loctite thread locker blue? It’s made to be serviceable and not permanent but effective for high vibrations.

I don't see anything about compatibility with plastic.
