  • The title was changed to AlgoForce E-1500 8x6 MK2 Coil, Is It Available In The Australian Market?

Yes, you can buy it now in Australia, reports are it's a good coil on the Algoforce, much better than the original, more sensitive too.

Technically released, but not available. First batch would have sold out everywhere.

Have you had a chance to try one out, I'd certainly value your opinion.  I'd only just bought the original Sadie and a week or two later the new ones start doing the rounds on social media, I had no idea the old one was being replaced at the time or I wouldn't have purchased the old one, now I'm in a conundrum about buying the new one too.

Don't think I'll get to have a play with one until I satisfy customer backorders. So depends on how many I get in the next batch.

Is the new version Sadie Mk2 still bundle wound. My GP3500 prefers not to be run on spiral/flat coils....she gets a bit cranky.

Just a feeling, based on a couple hints told to me, the Mk2 Sadie might be block-wound, like the Exceed coil for the 6000, you may notice that the shell design shows the Y axis extra thickness, like the Exceed. A square former is inside the coil shell and layers of litz wire are embedded into the former (like a flat wind) op top of each other, to form a square or rectangle bundle, instead of a circular one. It gives some benefits of a flat wind, without the over-use of space within the shell. Also provides low noise, like the Exceed coil demonstrates. Older legacy Minelab PI's might not like it, best test before you buy.

that would explain the extra sensitivity, manufacturers really latched onto this one they saw it done.
