Popular Post Joe Beechnut OBN
Out on the boat Wednesday scouting for a good spot to hit. Came across a little beach I've had my eye on for some time and figured this was the day to stop. Rarely, do I hunt shallow water but this day I seen some things I did not feel safe out deep with so I put my life jacket on and started hunting. Four and a half hours later I had a pouch full of goodies. (1) 14k 10.34gram, (1) 10k 1.5 gram and (1) 10k 5 gram. (15) Silvers.. (2) chains, ring, half dollar (4) Washingtons, several silver medallion's and 3 dimes. Not a lot of trash at this spot, it was closed before pulltabs and bottle caps. Hunting partner got a silver band, gold ring and 4 silvers. he hunted deep, all i could see of him most of the time was his shoulders. 25 1
F350Platinum
Always follow your hunches. Great finds! 👍 Every time I have a strong feeling to go somewhere or do something it seems to work out. But you're the master of this stuff. 🙂 There seem to be far fewer jellyfish this year too. 🤔 3
kac
Water is pretty murky, that would scare me lol Funny how your instincts kick in and we get stuff.

I was not sure what we were walking into after seeing a few things there on our arrival. Once I feel we have it cleaned out I'll post more. On the jelly fish I was talking to my buddy who was with me about that, neither of us has seen many at all. I've just started getting back into detecting and this may had been my 20th time out for the year, Only once did I see a few a little further south of this spot.. nothing any place else.... Strange for sure.

Yes, the Chesapeake bay is pure murky, vis is about 10 inches. Come Jan on until May/early June its clear.. Boat season starts, it gets bad.. boat stir up the mud. Yes, when we first got there I almost kept going. Glad I stopped.
King-Of-Bling
Real nice hunt. I bet it was comforting to have a boat & buddy out there. Makes for a safer hunt.
