Detech 8'' DD Coil For GPX 4500 - Some Opinions And Thoughts Please

My main coil that i use on my GPX is the Detech 11'' DD AI coil and for a everyday use coil its absolutely fine,but originally i had been looking at a smaller coil the Minelab 10x5 DD but they are not easy to get hold of here in the UK and pretty expensive for what they are,so looking at a alternative smaller coil and the 8'' Detech DD seems to tick alot of my boxes.

Mainly will be shooting for coinage ie silver/gold hammered coins and general artefacts as well,because most of my roman/saxon sites can be trashy as well,i am wanting the DD coil so that i can use the iron rejection,i have a brand new Coiltek 6'' Mono which i would love to use but it wont allow me to use iron rejection.

So my question is has anyone used the Detech8'' DD coil on a GPX and how did you get on with it.

Ordered one,so should get it in the next 10-12 days or so,will see how i get on with it...i  personally reckon it could be a killer combination especially on my roman trading villa site which has black very high mineral content.
