Whites MXT Metal Detector Parts

Recommended Posts

Hello All

My brother has damaged his headset jack in his 2014 White MXT while trying to get a broken off headset end out of it. Does anyone know the part number or type of replacement jack it would take to repair his machine. I’d appreciate any help with this issue.
Sincerely David C

Now that White’s has closed the factory in Sweet Home, these are the officially designated places to have warranty work and service done. Garrett has purchased White's, and will continue to support the product, with manuals here.

At last report the White’s facility in Scotland closed in November and is no longer accepting items for service:

I'd take Gold Dust Ernie Jr's advice and give Todd Marshall a call. From what I see is the original headphone jack is fully isolated. And Whites has not wired the headphone jacks in the traditional way. Since the detectors metal housing is grounded, you should be careful when installing a non-insulated socket. There are also isolation kits for this type of unisolated headphone jacks available. Just saying.
