ognjen Posted September 21, 2024 Share Posted September 21, 2024 So, do you keep all the gold you find or sell it? I don't have a large amount, but for now I'm keeping all the gold I've detected. Any rings etc that my lady wants, she gets. Occasionally, I'll keep jewellery for myself if it's old and decent. I was thinking of placing ads on the most popular websites in my country, asking for a higher price than scrap gold, but still offering a lower price than jewelry stores. This way, it would be more appealing for buyers. What do you think of this idea? Has anyone tried this before? Do you get a better price if you sell more grams? The difference between the price of gold jewelry sold in a store and the price you get when selling it as scrap is significant, and I feel like it's pointless for me to sell it at that price. Most anything of gold value I find is usually claimed by my wife and daughter and my son likes silver rings.
