Milton coming in after Helene will sure cause a major change in the bottom.  I wonder if there could be a 'fall out' zone that would be searchable.  I have my doubts.

It could be a good time to go to Venice and find shark teeth!

Milton is going to be serious. Much more so than Helene. At this point I'm just hoping there isn't a major change to my house.

What did it look like after the hurricane?   or what does it look like now before the next one?

After hurricane Helene a lot of sand was pushed in and up from the Gulf and also stripped from the dune areas along the shore. Skid steers all over the place moving sand off the streets and driveways.

I hunted the dune line a lot afterwards and the most common targets were pull tabs and pieces of aluminum. No gold very few coins. Managed to find some lightweight gold rings in the water and at the waters edge at low tide. There is a lot of fluffy soft sand in the water. Nothing has really changed up to this point, only my continued concern for the people affected by this soon to be Milton storm.
