Wild Bill Posted June 3 Share Posted June 3 MikMak, please post some pics of your aircraft! Last aircraft job I did was a P-51 unlimited race plane for Reno races. Shortened the wings by 2’ modified fuselage, engine etc. Won five gold medals if I recall and still holds the fastest race laps at over 500 mph. Started as a wreck, crashed into a house, work started in Bakersfield, shipped to Chino with first gold win in 1982. Dago Red. forgot to mention another hobby that I kinda keep alive, long range bench rest shooting and still have some tack drivers! Family hunts so I help daughters accuracy and tips. But it all comes back to metal detecting. Something about it that keeps me there! Greenhorn Posted June 3 Share Posted June 3 The members of this forum have a lotta cool hobbies. I love hiking in the mountains in the summer, exploring new places. Based in SoCal so it's too hot to detect in the summer, I detect in the fall, winter and spring. mntnflyr4fun Posted June 5 Share Posted June 5 My alternate form of recreation is hunting. Prefer Elk hunting here in Oregon.
