Justin a. Posted October 10, 2024 Share Posted October 10, 2024 It is extremely heavy. The crust on it is brittle but it itself is extremely hard, actually it scratched my porcelain. Gold tested it acid didn't disappear. No polishing done I just cut it with a Dimond cutting saw.. it took it to a rock museum and 2 rock shops and a geologists.. Noone has any idea. The only Tungsten I have come across was grey, but was a almost powder in the middle of a crack in Bull Quartz. No reason I know of that it could not get cemented together and form a super hard rock, but what do I know. I would think a tungsten lode, if you can find it, would have some value. Scheelite is typically the ore Tungsten comes from. Scheelite glows bright blue under short wave UV light.
