While the gold price is lovely, sadly it means our little world is in the poo. Sooner or later things will change and I reckon there will be a massive correction.

best to make hay while the sun shines.

yes that is the reason and your right the world is in the "poo" and I can't see a big correction until the "poo" is cleaned up, how far away that is, well your guess is as good as mine, in the mean time keep making hay 😁

Time to retire? 🙂

I found this story interesting.

Gold price has reached a record high of $US2,700 but experts say the price is still likely to rise | news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site

The recent run is also interesting because the expectation of pace of US rate cuts has been pushed to the right on a fair amount of stronger than expected economic numbers.  At the beginning of October the market was pricing in ~4.02% in December and now it's 4.40%.  All else being equal, that would be a headwind to price appreciation.

Now another question may arise,,, when gold will reach the threshold of 3,000 dollars... Meanwhile, according to the movement of gold in the last 2-3 months,, it can be deduced that the new year may be the year of "3,000"...
let's see...
... one more thing, don't forget that the price of silver is going up at the same time as gold... so it's good to watch that too...it has gained 80 percent growth in the last 2 years.
