I concur....its among the best VLF prospecting detectors Ive ever used. No need for 3 machines in a lineup, all essentially trying to do the same thing. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26845-gold-finder-2000-to-be-discontinued/page/2/#findComment-283091 Share on other sites
Bohemia Miner
I belong to many Prospecting Clubs. There are those who are interested in all kinds of Treasures, gold, rocks, coins, jewelry, relics, etc. Most are only after the gold. Some have gone down the MF/MP Detector route like the Equinox 800/900. Many still want just a Gold Prospecting machine that’s easy to use like the GM1K, which seems to be their “go-to” choice. So, there’s still a market for a “Gold Only” detector. Maybe the next step in its evolution is MF. I received this from Nokta this morning: “I would like to inform you that remaining stocks are still available for the Gold Finder 2000, and we are currently offering the Gold Kruzer as a gold prospecting detector. Additionally, we will be releasing a pulse induction gold prospecting device in the near future.” It sounds like they’re replacing the Gold Finder with the PI. I found the Gold Kruzer to be a little complicated. 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26845-gold-finder-2000-to-be-discontinued/page/2/#findComment-283106 Share on other sites
Aureous
Whats the bet that they will release the new PI in the GF2K housing? Or maybe the Impact housing? <rubbing chin> 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26845-gold-finder-2000-to-be-discontinued/page/2/#findComment-283123 Share on other sites

Best handle design, batteries right out beyond the armrest, nice big solid armrest, internal coil cable, nicely shaped control box (bucking the trend of mobile phone on a stick design). 3 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26845-gold-finder-2000-to-be-discontinued/page/2/#findComment-283391 Share on other sites
