I’ve just acquired a White’s MXT complete with 3 coils from a pawn type shop.  The detector is in excellent condition, but unfortunately someone had done a poor homemade job of converting it into a hip mount model – I got it at a really low price!  Fortunately, I’ve managed to rebuild it into a stem mounted MXT again.   Of the 3 coils, 2 of the coils are made by White’s, but the third I’ve never ever seen before.  It has the opposite plug connector to the White’s coils, meaning I can actually connect it together with a White’s coil by plugging one connector into the other - male to female or vice versa etc.  I wondered whether anyone can identify the coil for me?  The white’s lower stem fits perfectly into the mounting on the coil.  The coil is super light and 7 inches wide.  I wondered whether the person who owned the MXT had one of those extension cables that used to come with the White’s hip mount conversion kits.   Any help with identify the coil gratefully appreciated!

It's a Tesoro coil, won't work on the MXT.

Cheers Carl.  You wouldn’t happen to know which Tesoro’s the coil fitted by any chance?  I’ve owned a few Tesoro’s before, but don’t ever recall seeing a concentric coil like it.
