Disappearing Threads And Restrictions On New Members

"I’ve even considered going to new members only being allowed if sponsored/recommended by an existing member." That would be a bummer. But perhaps having people go to listed club meets to get a reference might be workable. I stumbled on this site looking for info about local sites to prospect and detector info. It's an amazing resource and I hate to hear its being abused and wasting your and our fellow member's time.
