White's Yellow Underwater Headphones Slider Replacement By 3D Printer?

I see the replacement rubber slider for $10.95 but they seem to fail just sitting in the closet.

Does anyone offer them in plastic perhaps made by a 3D printer?

I had my son make some 3d printed replacements but they would easily break and he tried a few different materials.  Anyone have an elegant solution for these things? Just had the headset fall to the floor and break another one.  Thinking of installing a CTX receptacle.

I think I found a solution. Check Amazon for “fir tree” fasteners or zip ties. I bought a pack and tried one and it seems like it should work!  Good to have these just in case too.  ASN B0DQQ2GRD9
