What a Beauty!! Nothing like seeing that color in the scoop!! Wow!!

Just a guess I would say your close on the date, 20's to the late 30's, the fineness stamp fits that period along with the style.

By the way Super Lowtide Saturday in the Bay.. Negative

Thanks Joe,

Sadly it's way too small and broken, the "R" is my first initial.

The coins have been coming up from the 1890s to the 1950s. I've walked the entire beach at the waterline and only found the old stuff in this spot, it started coming up in the spring as I recall. Apparently it's not stopping, so I'll have to return, it is getting pretty thin tho.

It wasn't a storm that did it, just persistent wind and waves.

Hope you have good luck out there, may visit a beach close to the Bay at low tide today. 👍

Wow! Great hunt. Looking forward to seeing day 5 results!

Thanks, I'm thinking the next time I go will probably produce less, but all that digging shook things up so maybe there will be a bit more. The big iron blobs are a bit much for my titanium scoop, the stainless one will be the next choice.

Another fine hunt in the books for you, now you need to spread out 10 more feet around that area and get the rest.

good luck and stay safe out there.

Thanks VL,

10 feet above is sidewalk and road, 10 feet below is water. I've been in the water in front of this spot, didn't hear much. I'll probably make the next hunt a water one as it will be cold enough for waders. 🙂

Nice job!!! But I'm really liking the petrified corn with dime. You should have poured resin over it and made a paper weight. 🤣That silver ring looks pretty old too. Good luck when you head back out in another day.

Thanks my friend,

Silver ring is marked  925 IBB TH, so it's fairly new. I pulled it out of the "surf" a bit further south when I went walking along to see if there was any old stuff anywhere else. I've been north of this spot and there's nothing there either but clad and the usual crap. That was a lucky find.

All in all if I can't relic hunt this will do. 👍

A few dry days with some real wind and that piece of beach could be a foot lower even without wave action.  Maybe put a random piece of drift stick with a level mark in somewhere for a  reference point .🤔

Neg tides here 11/13-11/20. 11/16 is -1.7 on the pm low.  Not sure how that translates to your beach.  (high is 11.5 on am , so a 13.2 drop uptah camp!) There's your best wader window to anything that might be in Davey Jones'.🏴‍☠️

Still tropical stuff out there churning  for a while to go too.

That D2 might go well with a PI chaser ??

The biggest ring is always somewhere on every beach......kindah like fish in the lake.

Sage comment, RVP. 👍

Been pretty successful in the water, but other guys I've seen out there complain there's nothing but coins. I go there once a week, so I'm sure I haven't seen them all, some are probably lurkers here too. 😅

For sure this place is always full of surprises, I never take it for granted 🙂

LOVE the old ring F350. With finds like that, you might as well stay at the beach ! 😉

Thanks Lodge,

I don't think this place will be producing stuff too much longer, but while the farms are dry, there isn't much else to do. I consider myself fortunate that I discovered this spot, I'm sure it won't be long until my presence there attracts others. 😔
