Yes, I was a Minelab dealer for 8 yrs, but have been terminated, with no official reason given.

For the last 3 or so months Minelabs has been sending me direct sales ads in emails  undercutting the higher end dectors sold by dealers by a fair sized margin. Makes me think they no longer want any of them to survive.

I liked only a small handful of their units

 Overall they are a sorry ass company. 

And worst of all here in the US we just let anyone sue anyone for whatever and this is why several other companies will not sell here in the states because minelab will take them to court for bullshit patent lawsuits.

I thought the same way as you do. With that said, I believe that I am younger than you and now I hope that I can live as long as some of the people on this site. Nobody knows how much time they have on this world, so live it as if there is no tomorrow without regrets.
