Dutchman4 Posted November 9 Share Posted November 9 I converted my GPX 4000 to another battery type so I don't need the OEM batteries any more. One battery tested to run the detector for 7 hours and the other one for 8 hours. I added a 3.5mm jack to one of the batteries so I could plug in my Avantree Relay device and use wireless bluetooth LL headphones. The standard 1/4" headphone jack can still be used also. I was told that the GPX 4000 batteries don't have the built in audio amplifier like the GPX 4500, 4800, 5000 batteries so be aware of this. Make offer, plus shipping.
