Popular Post Earl
Hello, Earl here from Holland. I am also an American from the Mojave Desert but chased the girls in Europe when I was in the USA Army in Frankfurt. Well of course I got married at 20 year old, and have enjoyed my life a lot since then. Searched in USA, Netherland, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Serbia, England and a number of other countries. And found a lot of nice stuff everywhere I searched. The best being England, Holland and France. Searched now for 41 years, so you can see that I am not a beginner... I am on other forums also, such as Treasure Net, and a few in Holland, the most being BVW ( https://www.bodemvondstenwereld.nl/ ) or Soil Finds World forum. Can speak English and Dutch, a bit of German, Vietnamese and Japanese from places I have worked and lived. Most people here younger than 60/70 have learned some English in school, and always want to use their English on me to study it. Yea I am an old bugger, but still doing everything I want to do, only a bit slower. I have loved searching in Europe, you find almost everything here including the BC period. In places in Holland, diep in the ground the finds come out almost as new, even after centuries in the ground. And in England too, in places where most of the ground has a lot of chalk, which keeps the corrosion to a minimum. Well, a long talk, I will go inspect this nice forum to see all the nice finds you guys are finding. I am also one of our 4 members from our metaling club, the WF4. We are Earl, Sjoerd, Theo and Jan (who we lost, he died 3 years ago). After this loss the members did not continue, however the site is still there. We searched for 21 years for 2 or 3 weeks in a great place in England, and really found much there and had a good time doing it! If you want you can see a lot of my finds on my icedrive site by using this link: https://icedrive.net/s/47j4zv6Fafw5Ga19YAQhS8hhj1Rw To see the images properly, click on the 'View Type' (to the right of the name icon). It makes the images bigger. Let me know what you think about the finds! wadzoeker@gmail.com About the photos, well you see in the second photo that I still look the same as in 1959! (ok, a white lie). 10 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26991-hello-from-holland/ Share on other sites

Thanks for your introduction. Yea, in 41 years you find a lot. There are many many finds. I have sold quite a bit, see the module Sold. Used quite a few detectors, ended up with Deus, it found much for me!
