I know just how hard it was to lose my grandfather, but I can never know what it would be like to lose one of my children should I ever have any.

My heart dropped when I read your post.  It is a heartbreaking reminder we live in a fallen world, and this is not our home.  I pray our Lord and Savior will comfort you all through your grief.  It is hard to see now, but please remember it does not end in grief.  As Christians we have hope, but more than hope - an assurance - of an eternity in heaven as adopted children of our Heavenly Father; a place where He will wipe every tear from our eyes and we will meet again our Christian family.

I am truly sorry for your loss.  In retrospect, it will only be for a short time.
