If this is going to be HF — wonder if they been testing it in the gold fields in the  US western states with success or other areas in the world (OZ etc).  Curious how it would do against an older Gold Bug 2 of course they will have to get that freq really up there to come close to 71K but maybe they will come close to the Whites GMT freq range — hopefully higher for the small stuff.

The Deus 1 HF elliptical coil operated at 74+ khz, so I expect similar specs for the D2 variant of that coil.

Well the D1 coil runs up to 80kHz from memory but can't compete with the GB2 or even the 40kHz machines on tiny gold, probably due to being a larger coil but it would still bring the D2 to being a capable gold machine for those without another and make it the most versatile machine with its big dive rating.

It all comes down to ground handling for some too, will the D2 SMF handle ground better than the GB2? Likely so it may end up better overall. I really look forward to hearing reports on this coil or detector really as the coil is the detector with XP.

Sure, it's unwatchable. But it will be, so I'm sitting here with popcorn and hoping Merril and "xp management" will reveal some new information about HF FMF.

Because, so far there is nothing in FCC ID database: https://fcc.report/company/Xplorer

When will it be viewable?  The live view time of Dec 27 11:37 AM has passed?  Did it actually happen?

The video is ready to watch now.

At 46:53 it starts to get really funny, Phillip says that they don't even start testing the new coil in real field conditions. And here we go again, we - the end users, have to pay for the new coil up front. The coil is not tested in real conditions because Xp decided to give that to the final tester. The customer=betatester.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I demand at least a modicum of respect for the customer. To me, a coil not tested in the field is an unfinished product.
