MV Searcher Posted November 28 Share Posted November 28 I currently own a Tesoro Bandido II uMAX with standard 8" search coil. I want a smaller coil for hunting trashy areas. I think Tesoro made a 4" and a 5.75" optional coil. Does anyone know for certain? If so I would like to find and buy a 5.75" coil. EL NINO77 Posted Friday at 08:58 AM Share Posted Friday at 08:58 AM If you want a coil that separates better than an 8" concentric coil.. then I recommend a 5.75" concentric coil..t..this coil has improved separation properties and has a reasonably good detection depth... EL NINO77 Posted Saturday at 05:39 PM Share Posted Saturday at 05:39 PM The 8x6" sef coil is generally a good coil..but .type DD,,so at low discrimination setting .with it you will not eliminate Bottlecap,,like with the CC coil..
