oldcoinhunter
Tried finding this coin using Google lens and nothing comes up. Anyone have any idea on age and country. It is about the size of a quarter and weighs 4.75 grams. Ridge Runner
Just looking at it it looks what you would see in a Roman coin but it could help to know where you found it . Chuck . Ridge Runner
That coin could have been brought in by the Chinese working in the gold field and they lost it. It’s like I’ve found coins in school yards and I know they didn’t belong there. I say that more than likely a kid got into a coin collection for a little show and tell with friends then lost it. I’ve got some books just maybe I can come up something. Ridge Runner
If it was me I’d let it sit overnight in some white vinegar and maybe get some of that crust off of it. You can’t do anymore damage than the holes punch in it. Then maybe you can read what’s on the reverse and see what else is there. Valens Legacy
Looks like something from the Philippines area or early Hawaiian area. The figure is not from the Roman area. Hope that helps some, as I have seen some coins from those areas and it looks more like those. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27078-help-identifying-this-coin/#findComment-285120 Share on other sites

Found quite a few of these in England. They can typically date from 19th right up to just a few decades ago. They still make similar today, in base and precious metal. Part of a bracelet. 7 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27078-help-identifying-this-coin/#findComment-285123 Share on other sites
