I’ve recently acquired a Nokta Impact Pro and was hoping to accessorize it with some Black Friday deals.  However, I was elated to discover the dealer I usually purchase stuff from was discontinuing Nokta Anfibio/Nokta Impact coils, shafts and stems at bargain basement prices.  Plus, they were also even giving extra percent-off in their Black Friday sale.

I’d always wanted to try concentric coils on the Nokta Impact, but it looks like Nokta discontinued those quite some time back.  Though, fortunately I remembered reading that the Kruzer/Anfinbio coils also worked on the Nokta Impact, although with a much longer coil cable.  Anyway, to cut a long story short.  I decided on a work around by buying a discontinued Anfibio longer middle shaft and incorporating one twist of the coil cable round the lower stem before feeding it inside the stem.  My idea worked like a treat, as I was left with a small acceptable loop leading into the lower stem, instead of loads of excess coil cable.

In the discontinued bargains/Black Friday sale.  I was able to acquire a set of Impact protective covers, KR18c coil, AF23c coil, KR24 coil, 3 lower stems, Anfibio longer middle shaft, Nokta Kruzer/Anfibio waterproof AA battery case (to fit the second-hand but brand-new looking Gold Kruzer I’ve just bought) Anfibio protective cover.   All for the price of the KR18c coil – well with a smidge on top, but still an incredible bargain.  So, all in all, it was undoubtedly the best Black Friday sale I’ve ever taken advantage of before!  Thanks for reading.

My sentiments exactly George!  I really like the telling nuances in the audio on the Nokta Impact.  I also like the fact we’re very unlikely to ever see another detector quite like the Impact ever again, with so many different search modes.  Plus, it also seems many of the manufacturers nowadays are starting to move away from producing concentric coils.  So, it’s nice to also have that option using the Impact.

Imagine have 30 detectors in one. That was my experience. I gave it to my digging partner, and he has yet to part with it. Good luck on your journey. George.

That 7" concentric coil in 20kHz frequency is micro jewelry capable, especially in Boost mode, and EUD gives it another boost.   Its a great coil on the Impact.  I bought my 5" DD and 7" concentric from Richard at Backwoods Detector sales early this spring and I think he could still get them if someone needed one in the US if one of the local forum dealers can't help.

I was a late comer to the Impact.  Now I think it is a great detector.  I like mine very much.  Reminds me a lot of the early T2.

Glad you were able to pimp out your Impact on a budget, Guinea1.

Glad to be reminded the Anfibio coils will connect.

What coil do you have? You may not need a dealer with George.
