Jako punkt odniesienia najpierw przetestuję detektor Aka INTRONIK z cewką 18" 2/14 Khz na programie 5 Deep.. i Gain 19..

W ten sposób zobaczysz, w jaki sposób taki detektor i cewka mogą wykrywać dane... i ile celów są w stanie prawidłowo wykryć.

Strona z wykresem znajduje się pod adresem:   https://www.geotech1.com/forums/filedata/fetch?id=338847   . Należy pamiętać, że jest to bardzo stary wykres, ale stosunek rozmiarów cewek będzie taki sam.

The site for the graph is   ..  https://www.geotech1.com/forums/filedata/fetch?id=338847  .. Note that it is a very old graph but the ratio between coil sizes will be the same.

Thanks geof_junk, I clicked on those links but I needed to sign-up. I tried but for some reason it said my email address was banned?? (I can kind of understand that as it's a hotmail account and maybe it flagged as spam because of that). There's a link to notify the administrator if you think you have been banned in error but unfortunately the link doesn't work. That's a pity as it was a search for something about coil size and relationship to depth a couple of years back that led me to discovering Steves forum in the first place when the search came up with this link

https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/12774-detecting-depth-vs-coil-size-and-shape-long-detailed/page/2/

which I assume is the same graph shown in your above links?

Hello,Will Mxt be tested with 13 Ultimate

I don't have an MXT Pro with me at the moment..so we can test this detector..but we have a Whites spectra V3..
Maybe in the summer..I'll bring one of my MXT pro with the Ultimate coil and we'll test this detector too..

I'm currently testing my Equinox 800 for comparison

8cm lead at 50cm depth, deposit at 50cm..and a Coca-Cola can at 80cm..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roma silver denarius coin a 30 cm deep..

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roman sestercus coin at 40cm depth...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you can see from the testing, the Equinox 800 did not detect any of the basic targets on this test field...that's a fact..

-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------

Moneta rzymska srebrna denar o głębokości 30 cm.

-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------

Rzymska moneta sestercus na głębokości 40 cm...

-------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------

Jak widać z testów, Equinox 800 nie wykrył żadnego z podstawowych celów na tym polu testowym... to fakt.

Thank you for your tests and work.

I will continue with the 1st round of testing detectors on the Test Field-ES. because in the second round of tests I compared the EQ800 also on 1 frequency 4-5-10 -15-
and 40 KHZ vs Multifrequency..
it turned out that 4 khz allows to detect deposit targets to a certain extent at 50 cm and 65 cm...

But you only have VDI targets on the deposit at 50 cm...,,, and at 65 cm deposit  only a weak signal without VDI..

Now I will give another test of the analog detector Detech Relic Striker with a large coil on this Test Field ES...

 In Fabric settings/auto/..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Manual settings/optimized/

  • 2 months later...

Anyway, last weekend I spent 3 days at the Top Diggin test field, which has 70 targets and on which several different deposits are located at really good depths... so we spent some time in addition to testing universal detector settings for all types of targets... we also spent some time setting up detectors... precisely for this type of detection.. deep deposit targets...

Here it will be shown which detectors have a good predisposition for detecting different types of deposits... from the point of view of detection ability as well as detection quality..

As an example, I show detection from AKA ontronik on the program 3 "DEEP" ..with a 9"x12" coil 7khz/60khz.. where it was shown that the correct program on the detector can provide the desired results... even on such a large coil.. and at such a frequency..

targets 10, 11, 12 are Roman silver denarii coin  at a depth of 15,20, and 25 cm..
target 13 is a coin deposit at 45 cm,
target 14 is a coin deposit at 55 cm
target 30 is a silver coin at 30 cm depth
target 26 is a deposit of 110 grams of silver coins at a depth of 45 cm
target 27 is a bronze deposit at 60 cm..
next target is a silver thaler at a 45 degree angle at a depth of 40 cm..
second next special target is a 5kg lead brick at a depth of 60 cm.
The third target is a silver deposit of 500 grams of silver at a depth of 80cm,,, which also serves to test the masking of this deposit with an iron nail from the side..
the fourth target is a military copper buckle at a depth of 55-60 cm..
the other targets serve for control testing..
