Ha! Yes, that was my first water machine. I hip mounted mine on a belt so it was actually very light to use. I don't know how well that would work for a diver. Still have mine collecting dust in the closet. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27490-coil-weights/page/2/#findComment-288770 Share on other sites

Being with a scoop among heavy boulders and rocky prevailing bottom it is almost useless so sometimes a mask, a snorkel and dive boots are the preferred setup to move some stuff and reduce the height of the coil from the ground zero...The less cables and things on me, the better. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27490-coil-weights/page/2/#findComment-288773 Share on other sites
Ripcode
I don’t any weight to my coil. I wish it was lighter! 😊 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27490-coil-weights/page/2/#findComment-288797 Share on other sites
okara gold
I weighted a coil only once with a sock filled with sand. It was for the Garrett ADS 7 decades ago and about a half hour into the hunt a wave flooded the control box and off to the repair center it went.
