Popular Post okara gold
Went for a 4-hour hunt this morning and almost didn't dig this small target. There was a lot of tiny trash on the beach, and I was getting tired of recovering small bits of junk. It weighs .8 grams of 14K. Using the Manticore with the M9 coil and a sensitivity at 27, damp sand. Its ID was 3. It is shown on my first Kennedy half for the year also. 11 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27645-first-tiny-14k-earring-for-2025/ Share on other sites
F350Platinum
Gold is gold, Okara! 👍 Nice going, and cool you snagged a half dollar as well. That little wave ring might be silver. 🤔 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27645-first-tiny-14k-earring-for-2025/#findComment-290182 Share on other sites
okara gold
Thanks 350! The wave ring is silver. In 2024 I only found 1 half dollar. They sure are better than those crusty pennies. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27645-first-tiny-14k-earring-for-2025/#findComment-290184 Share on other sites
1491
Much respect for the amount of digging you did. Congrats on the gold! I almost never dig numbers that low, for the same reason you noted. 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27645-first-tiny-14k-earring-for-2025/#findComment-290200 Share on other sites

I really like to see those encrusted green coins, no better sign.. think there's more there as well. Finding the tiny gold is superb... 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27645-first-tiny-14k-earring-for-2025/#findComment-290208 Share on other sites
Heavygold4me
Nice job getting the gold with all the bits of trash. I hunt a spot that is similar, full of small pieces of wire mesh. I hunt it till I’m tired of digging trash, but it has paid off with a 14k gold pendant. It’s what keeps me going back. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27645-first-tiny-14k-earring-for-2025/#findComment-290210 Share on other sites

Glad I did. 1 hour ago, stupot said: You did well! I really like to see those encrusted green coins, no better sign.. think there's more there as well. Finding the tiny gold is superb... Tiny gold is a challenge and something I don't shy away from. 4 small gold chains last year keeps me hopeful. 14 minutes ago, Heavygold4me said: Nice job getting the gold with all the bits of trash. I'm still hunting the beaches in S.W. Florida that suffered from the last hurricane. You never know what will turn up. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27645-first-tiny-14k-earring-for-2025/#findComment-290213 Share on other sites

TampaBayBrad
Hey-hey! You broke the ice on the new year. Beat me to it. Ha! ID #3 right there with all the small aluminum junk. I may have passed on it unless it gave me "the good sound". 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27645-first-tiny-14k-earring-for-2025/#findComment-290298 Share on other sites
