Hello From California & Question

Hi there, Vincent here, from California, originally from the Netherlands. I'm not detecting much here, but once a year I go back to the Netherlands to visit my parents and do some detecting there. (Using mostly older Tesoro's.) 

 

Not sure how many posts I need but been looking at the classifieds and want to buy Machineman's Tesoro 12x10 coil. My question is how to go about this, as I cannot contact him directly because of my new member status. Can anyone (admin or member) help?

Welcome aboard Vince !   I have not the power to grant your wish . But that gate helps keep this forum as good as it is .

The quickest way to the classifieds is to join in posting on the forums letting the crew get to know you.   Maybe Machineman will contact you before the time limit if he sees this. 

 It's not hard. Tell us about some of your finds back home .Maybe a pic or two? 👍

Attached some of my finds when i was in the Netherlands in 2021 and 2024.

 

There's only 1 or 2 days that i can detect there, the rest of the vacation is filled with friends and family visits. But this gives you an idea of what's happening there 🙂 

 

If you are so inclined, please do send Machineman a quick PM telling him he has a buyer (me) for the 5 pin tesoro coil..

This is probably since I still have a new member status on this forum. I would like to buy Machineman's tesoro 12x10 coil. I am located in California. Am already a vetted member of Findmall in case you want to do a little background check.

Have tried reaching Machineman via Ebay as well since I noticed he has a gold bug listed there, but Ebay appears to block the communication; Ebay does not want us to deal in something that's not listed there.

Yes, it's due to your new member status, @Machineman  will see your post, I've also messaged to him to let him know you're trying to contact him.

Best not to leave your email public as you may get spam, I've told him to send you a message with his email address so you can communicate that way.

I don't think machineman can send a PM to him Simon - I don't think the system does not work either way for new members. If vince wants we can send his email to machineman and then he can email vince if he chooses.

So with your permission @vince1978 we will send your email to @Machineman. It would be up to him then to contact you or not. FYI the reason we are set up this way is because established long time members generally prefer it this way, as the membership has a higher trust level with long time participants than people who just show up to sell or buy. I am not implying anything about you when i say that, just explaining why it is the way it is.
