Rob in (ca)
I ran The TDI pro for a couple of seasons, deep And Stable, on wet salt sand, even better being water proof, nice built. Joe Beechnut OBN
Looks nice Clive! A couple questions, where is the battery? I'm guessing the two M12 fittings are used for the coil and head phones? Like to see a few pictures of all on a shaft and ready to find some gold. Thanks, Rob. Just wish it was as good in moving salt as it is in fresh--it would be the ultimate beach gold getter. cjc Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27707-my-waterproof-tdi-pro-build/#findComment-290656 Share on other sites

Very excited! cjc 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27707-my-waterproof-tdi-pro-build/#findComment-290657 Share on other sites
Joe Beechnut OBN
Good Luck!! Will be interesting to see how all works for you! I have a friend that uses a regular TDI Pro during lowtides, saltwater wet sand. No issues as far as I know. cjc
superb circuit. much as I like the power and smoothness of the AQ its weak in the 22k which is making up a higher poercentage of what's lost up here as the price goes up. also weak on chains. The TDI Pro checks all these boxes. cjc 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27707-my-waterproof-tdi-pro-build/#findComment-290721 Share on other sites
Tony
Just take good care with those White's BeachHunter / TDIBH cases Clive........they are notoriously "leaky" as I discovered firsthand on two different detectors. It's quite a job getting the O-ring to seat properly and getting the screws torqued correctly.....too loose and it will leak and too tight will crack the plastic tabs. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27707-my-waterproof-tdi-pro-build/#findComment-290834 Share on other sites
