Curious because I have the 19” but I haven’t found any sizeable gold at depth with it. Really just a .1g shallow dink. Goldseeker5000 Posted February 20 Author Share Posted February 20 I think it was clear but faint. My buddy had worked this wash many times with his 7000, including this day. He was working up ahead of me, so he just passed through this spot. He has not heard this nugget every time he passed though this spot. He was thinking I just might get better depth than the 7000. He was right and I figured I would hit one he couldn't as well. I wasn't even hunting in the deepest timing. dig4gold Posted February 21 Share Posted February 21 Maybe the 19" Evo got better depth being a bigger coil than the 7000's ML 14x13, if that was the coil your friend was using on his 7000. Goldseeker5000 Posted February 21 Author Share Posted February 21 He has the stock coil, the 12 inch nf z search and the 13x17 z search by nf. He doesn't like the 13x17 much and he swears he get the best depth on the 12 inch. He has used all in this wash according to him. He did nail a nice 23.47 gram nugget that day on a slope. He did a boot scrape and it had moved. Damn near a sun baker.
