Jeff C
New member to the forum, but have read countless posts. Picked up this little gem this morning and am wondering if anyone has information on it. PI? Year(s) of manufacture. Need to replace the 9V connector and will see if it works. The circuit board is very clean. Let's see if it needs recapped. Thanks. Geotech
It's a TR design, made from 1978-1981. 3 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27908-whites-surf-master-amphibian/#findComment-292728 Share on other sites
Jeff C
Thanks. Is that similar to VLF or PI...or something else entirely? Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27908-whites-surf-master-amphibian/#findComment-292729 Share on other sites
Geotech
TR is similar to VLF, sinusoidal tech but no disc, no ground balance. The one knob turns it on and sets the tuning threshold. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27908-whites-surf-master-amphibian/#findComment-292731 Share on other sites

Joe Beechnut OBN
The design reminds me of the White Surf Master 1000 and I think the yellow is a 2 or 3000. All belong to my friend Ed.
