Bill (S. CA)
Anyone got an old White's Coinmaster Classic III they would part with? I had one in the 1980's that my mother and I used to take on hunts together. She has been in my thoughts lately and I got the urge to find one. The picture is of me, my mom and my son at age 4, taken at Santa Monica Beach. Thanks. JamieinMaine
Give me a few days to look. I don't remember exactly which old coinmasters I own. I have 2 or 3. That is kind of embarrassing on my part lol. If I find the right one, I will only ask for shipping coverage. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27919-wtb-whites-coinmaster-classic-iii/#findComment-292808 Share on other sites
mn90403
You are at the end of Wilshire Blvd. I bought a White's Coin Master and used it in the same area in 1986. 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27919-wtb-whites-coinmaster-classic-iii/#findComment-292822 Share on other sites

J-ROB
I have a Classic III SL--latest model that uses the AA battery pack rather than the 9V batteries. This one (along with the Classic III Plus) uses the latter day Blue Max series coils same as 5900/6000 SL. XLT, IDX, etc. Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/27919-wtb-whites-coinmaster-classic-iii/#findComment-292858 Share on other sites

JamieinMaine
Bill, I have cleaned and tested the unit. It works great. I have sent you a private message. I would like to get this in your hands. I don't think I ever used this in the field. I just purchased it years ago when I was collecting White's units. It is a used machine but doesn't look too bad for the age. I know it has meaning to you because of your mother. That means a lot.
