Fisher's New Gold Bug Tracker Metal Detector

I'm helping Fisher introduce a new, low cost detector designed for new prospectors on a budget. Its called the Gold Bug Tracker, its built off the design of the Gold Bug Pro and runs at 19kHz. Its not going to replace any $6,000 dollar detectors, but for new guys who see the high price of gold and want to give nugget detecting a try without busting the budget, it's a good choice. A little more than 1/10th of an ounce and its paid for itself.  It is very easy to operate and is selling for $299. No, F19 is a version of the GB Pro series. The tracker has automatic tracking that keeps it in ground balance; Its really stable and simple to use. It has better resistance to mineralization and hot rocks. The F19 comes with the large coil, not a good choice for that model of detector if used on gold.

My F19 came with the 10x5", seems that's still an option, I like that coil.

I'll have to watch your video, I figured it has tracking by the name but never been that interested in tracking for prospecting in my conditions.   The resistance to hot rocks sounds interesting though.

I vaguely remember reading about this detector for Africa years ago.

Sounds like a good entry level prospecting unit for the price.

High plains prospecting is saying its 15kHz in their specifications, I'm sure that's incorrect.

The 10 x 5 coil is great for coins, jewelry and relics, but you loose a whole lot of sensitivity to smaller, sub gram gold. That detector is not a super sensitive one like the Gold Monster or the GB 2.

 Years ago White’s would give you a small gold nugget with their detector and the one I got had three little nuggets with it .

 That’s what you call history and I’m sure we’ll never see that again.
