Better Check Your Vortex If You Have One

Latest video from iffy signals showing a big problem Garrett needs to fix on the Vortex. If you've been hunting iron laden sites you've probably been leaving good targets behind.

Did the prior programming do this or is it definitely a bug in the update.?

According to Iffy Signal’s video above, V2.07 did not have this issue. The latest V9.08 (2.08) does. Also, Carl NC got in touch with Garrett and at the moment you can’t backtrack to a previous software version.

I am pretty sure that Garrett will get this fixed soon like they did with the earlier software bugs and weird behavior.

Yep mine does the same thing. Also have posted a video showing the malfunction.

Updates without a rollback plan in place.  It's like the 1990's of software release.

Version 9.08 has been out almost a month. I wonder how people have been using the Vortex unaware of the issue.

Interesting bug, I don't hit iron enough to notice and it would always be refreshed by the time I hit another target.

I'm sure they'll fix this one quickly seeing it was just introduced in the latest update so they have a baseline to go back to and work out why and how it was introduced and with it being so easy to replicate that will help in resolving it.
