Not normally if at all. They hunt coins and relics also, not just gold, and are showing a coin in that photo, not a nugget. I’m sure marketing just wanted a picture of them for the flyer is all and that one was handy.

I have met Warren and Colleen, really great people. Warren in particular is a real wizard with the Axiom. Seeing them both again will be a real bonus on this outing.

I'm gunning for you this time Steve H.😁.  Last time, the 2nd day, Garrett stuffed a detector in my hands I had absolutely ZERO knowledge of, the Vortex.  How's a well known nugget hunter supposed to have a chance at winning the contest when I only get half the time with preferred detector?

Actually, if you (Steve H or I) were to win it, someone would call out "Rigged".  It's probably best we allow some of the Young Guns a chance to shine.

Looking forward to it.

I was running the Vortex as long or longer than you at the same time Gerry and you found a nugget with it…. I did not. Nice try at an excuse but no go. I’ll also point out I easily had the most gross weight and most gold weight and pushed the judge into choosing somebody else as the winner of the contest. It’s right there in the video.

Gun away though as friendly competition is always a good motivator. I’d be pleased as punch if you won as I’m sure you’d be for me if I win, but fact is we just jinxed ourselves and it will be somebody else anyway. I expect to find nothing so that if I find anything at all I'll be pleasantly surprised. :smile:

Steve H, Oh yeah, I had forgot🤫 about that as you and I were on the hill above trying to dial in those blue detectors while everyone else was swinging for the Gold.

Yes, I do enjoy a friendly jab and accept them as well, just don't use a sharp knife🗡️.  OK, I'll admit it and this is 100% true.  Steve did get the best looking and probably most valuable gold if you look at resale.  But as you mentioned Steve, it's better to see some of the newer faces get some recognition.  The blonde 👱‍♀️ carrying around that 10 foot pipe all afternoon was hilarious🤣.

It's all good old buddy and I look forward to seeing everyone again.  Who knows, maybe even dig mouthful nugget and then tell some tall stories.

One thing about that gold when compared to Rye Patch, North NV., it sure is beautiful.
