2025 Gold Finds

Thought it would be fun to get a thread going where we can share our finds throughout the year. I know a lot of you are out finding gold but are too humble to show it off on here! Would like to see what everyone is finding.

I'll start with this 4.7g I found on a recent outing. All found with a combination of the GPX6000 with 9" Goldhawk and 11" GPX mono coil. This area is a California hydro pit. Particularly, in a section where the old timers had washed down to the bedrock and broke it apart to get to the embedded gold. Some of these were 6" into the decomposing bedrock with bit of virgin river rocks coming out as well, so I assume they must have been crevices and cracks in the bedrock when the river had water.

That's a nice haul of solid dense nuggets and I love the shape of a couple of those.  Well eared my friend.

As for a thread of everyone posting their finds on your post?  Most of us who share finds, usually make a new post.  That allows the majority of readers to see the new stuff as many folks don't follow posts and or threads.

Either way, you're getting the gold and those are Tops.  Well earned.

That makes sense about the new threads. I'll admit I'm fairly new to using forums so I appreciate you saying that.
