We will soon see i suppose, as many are already on the preorder list from the forum!

I just bought (today) a used M8 from a forum member, to complete the full set! I have high hopes for it, in and around some tight areas, and hopefully along with that, less EMI! I Needed it yesterday🙄, to hunt in and around some shallow water reefs I found exposed at the beach!

Without owning a D2 myself,  but knowing many who do, I'm guessing it will be one of the most versatile of the lineup! The frequency bins I've heard about will definitely pick out some keepers! Like any small coil, it's not used for coverage, but the hard to reach areas! Probably will end up as a better tool than even the M8!🍀👍👍

I'm still fairly new to this hobby, but overall I've had enough different machines and coils to at least give an overall assessment, not technically but from "feel".

My Equinox 600, way back in the beginning, was literally transformed by adding the Coiltek 10x5 which is the same size coil as the upcoming HF2. My finds to trash ratio took a major turn, and to this day it is still on that detector.

I have the Deus 2 and Manticore, and still find the Deus, even with my preference for large ellipticals lately, far superior in the finds to trash ratio.

I own and have used the M8, but much prefer the M9 so far, I found the M8 to be fooled by iron more,  my local beaches are difficult in that respect. I used it in the field extensively and was disappointed there as well.

I think the Manticore currently is the "low conductor" champ, but the HF2, which I was hopefully early enough to be among the first to order, will be a big "We'll see".

From some of the scuttlebutt this far, it appears that XP may open a few more eyes.

There is no doubt in my mind that having both detectors is an advantage.
