I have the 900 and did not get the Manticore..wait on the next latest and greatest. Minelab seesaws between new coin detectors and new gold nugget detector releases. We just had Manticore and others and so next up are the gold machines. As far as rumors, make up any you want because that is all anyone is doing. I've signed plenty of NDAs with Minelab and anyone crossing that company will rue they day they did. So no, they are not talking, the only people talking are the ones that do not know. It sounds like you are more interested in a new coin machine, and Manticore is probably it for some time. The CTX 3030 is very long in the tooth and so maybe a replacement for it some day, but people debate even that, as it is not obvious that a huge market exists for $2500 coin machines these days. So you might have to wait for Manticore II. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/28324-next-minelab/#findComment-296339 Share on other sites

They’re having the Minelab dealers convention in Adelaide Australia next week, besides that nobody’s talking. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/28324-next-minelab/#findComment-296346 Share on other sites
Steve Herschbach
What the last Codan (Minelab owner) report dated Feb 21, 2025 report actually says is: "Release next generation of detectors across recreational, gold and Countermine over the coming 6 to 18 months" As reported by a dealer: "Minelab Partner Conference Adelaide Australia, May 13th to the 19th 2025" The 2024 Annual Report published in Sept 2024 only says this: "Ongoing development of an exciting suite of new products to strengthen our offerings to the Rest of World, Africa and Countermine divisions." 3 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/28324-next-minelab/#findComment-296350 Share on other sites

VicR
Part of the puzzle has been solved - next new Minelab machine is the Gold Monster 2000. It has just been listed on Australian Trade Mark website - https://search.ipaustralia.gov.au/trademarks/search/view/2545222?q=Minelab I am assuming this is going to be a point of discussion at this months conference. Will be interesting to see what Minelab have developed and pricing. 4 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/28324-next-minelab/#findComment-296357 Share on other sites

RONS DETECTORS MINELAB
https://codan.com.au/https-vimeo-com-1059944480sharecopyt0/ Here’s the H1 FY25 results webinar link: At 29:50 they mention the following information and claim all leapfrog technologies. I was hoping you could expand may be on the new product side of things more so in Minelab can you maybe just give us a little bit more color on how many products you’re expecting to release over the next 12 to 18 months and potential timing yeah I think we’ve been you know quite consistent. We’ve got two gold detectors, two recreational detectors, and two countermine detectors coming out over a period of time you know our various technologies all leapfrog technologies, so that’s what we’re excited about. 7 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/28324-next-minelab/#findComment-296361 Share on other sites
Steve Herschbach
Thanks Ron! I admit I never watched that. I still call BS though on immensely scientific sales terminology like "leapfrog" The only company they could possibly leap over is themselves. Typical puff up the stock to investors sales pitch. I guess I've heard too many over the years to get all giddy over it. Notice the published version said 6 - 18 months, the video asks about 12 - 18 months. So actually this could be next year - just saying don't hold your breath. 3 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/28324-next-minelab/#findComment-296362 Share on other sites
