I’m from Brooklyn, but I head up to Alaska every summer with my wife and our son to visit her side of the family. Over the years, I’ve totally fallen in love with the land, the pace, and especially the gold. This summer I’m planning to spend a bit more time getting my hands dirty — nothing too serious, just chasing color wherever I can, soaking up knowledge, and enjoying time with my boy out on the trails and creeks. Ridge Runner Posted May 6 Share Posted May 6 FMC I’ve been there more than one time but one of the times I drove there from south Texas. Bye the time me and some other guys got back we had made a 12000 mile round trip. I’d do it all over again but the guys I went with are all gone now. Time gets us all so I’ve been told.
