Spring Hunt?

Hi all,

Been thinking about another spring nugget hunt out at Rye Patch again.  Memorial Day week looks to be good if the weather holds.  But that's only two weeks away so I kinda need to know how many would be willing to show up.

I know it's getting harder out there to find something but they are still there, just takes longer.  We'd camp out at the usual place, south end, Jim Williams memorial.  Gold has been found in all directions from there so it's a good place to start.

So, show of hands.  Can you make it, even if just for a few days?  Respond back please.

Sorry Digger Bob, but the wife has my Birthday weekend tied up for me. 

I do appreciate the offer and hopefully can make one of these gatherings. It would be nice to lift a toast to Mr Williams again.

I was out there today for about 6 hrs. No luck for me, but another guy who had never been there before nailed a couple pieces 100 yards from me. It's still there

It is a difficult time of year to be out up there but I'm able to schedule some time over the next couple of months.  It is sometimes good to look at the long-range weather reports and find a break.
