Anybody do any detecting in Louisiana, I will be there about 5 months/year.. Not sure if there is any opportunities for detecting without getting snaked or gatored......

I can't carry all similar safety gear I have but am thinking some great .410 000 buck should do something in my judge......, but hopefully I am not detecting in the swamp, if so I will just stay home.....

What part of LA are you moving to?

There is a lot of history in Louisiana.   Some of it the earliest.

Don't forget "sharked" plenty of Bull sharks there in salt and fresh water!

You might want to check with Florida Fish and Wildlife, to get the best info, because there are a lot of Bull Sharks in Florida waters!
