GPX 4500 Coil?

On a 4500 using a 6" coiltek goldstalker mono coil what is a good Rx gain setting? I figured with a 6" coil you could go higher. On a 9" x12" goldstalker I run rx12, stabilizer 10.

One thing Doc mentioned. When he is in a new spot before he digs the target he will experiment with settings to see what will improve the response. With this target I get a big response.

I bought a 8" minelab commander coil from Rob to try on the 4500. I have a 5" round hot rock from my rock pile that the 6" Coiltek goes nuts on. I can ground balance it out on the 4500.. The 8" comander coil that picks up the same targets at the same distance does not react at all to the hot rock. Interesting.
