I know this is changing the subject but I was looking at your profile and I see you have a Deep Tech Gold Gain and I was wondering how you like it? I’ve had mine for a while but just haven’t had the opportunity to get where I wanted to use it.

It’s a lot great detectors out there but it’s a long swim to check them out . It’s not many dealers that’s willing to stick their neck out like Richard selling Deep Tech .

It would be interesting to get this detector on an oscilloscope to see what it’s putting out. I’ve checked some in years past on what they said but didn’t always hold true.

Hi Chuck,

The Gold Gain went a few years ago whilst i had it i used it mostly on cultivated sites with roman/celtic habitation it did very well picking out the roman grots and a few brooches from the mineralised site (4-5) bar on F75.

I replaced the Gold Gain with the new model (at the time) DeepTech Vista X which whilst not as good on the habitation sites as the Gold Gain excelled on pasture.

There is more to a detector than a transmit waveform. If this is the claim for about US$1350:

then I’ve got a really dandy LRL I’d be happy to sell you. We are going to get buried in AI/Hybrid marketing BS going forward. I’m not picking on Golden Mask here, Minelab just pulled it also with the Gold Monster 2000. Say the right words, people start imagining VLF discrimination to PI depths. That’s what the marketing implies but that’s not what you are going to get.

Not in the market for LRL, but am interested in oceanfront property in arizona.......

Am I interpreting the depth correctly -- ~35 cm (14 in.)?  Also, what was the reason to put the Euro coin simultaneously in the same location as the silver pendant?  Were we supposed to interpret a different tone as a kind of discrimination?
