I have been metal Detecting for so many years with my reliable Garrett Etrac in and around Bonsall Village Derbyshire / England. There's a big push on over here by Clubs and Groups to get everyone signed up to Online Forums, registered to/and Block Voting in Local and National Elections, and to be active members of one or all of the National Organisations representing our Hobby/ Sport/ Pastime. Getting tired of my Club Secretaries constant nagging about all this , I finally joined this Forum as it is very technical and has many interesting topics which are discussed better here than on the UK websites, in my opinion. If anyone is vaguely interested my user name is not technically correct , but it's locationally, and cynn appropriate as I'm an old man too ! It should be T'Owd Man , the previous generation used to write T'Owd Mon. Pronounced Toad Mon T'Owd Man / T'Owd Mon is the name of a Mining Spirit, beautifully portrayed on a medieval stone carving, originally from my Market Village of Bonsall which was "Kidnapped "by the Quirksworthians...long story for another time. Feel free to post about your finds in the coins and relics section of the forum or wherever suits the find, it would be good to see as there are certainly great finds in your neck of the woods.
