Hi

Thought I let you know my first two days of using a silencing kit for the ML 105 headphones. I found the wind noise and the frogs quite loud when using the 105's. So I started to look for a solution that would not set me back several hundred euro's. I got a tip in a facebook group. There was supposed to be a silencing kit. I found it, ordered it and have been testing it the last two days, about 10 hours of detecting. First day quite windy..

It is easy to implement, took me about 4 minutes for the two cups. It consist of 4 inserts (2 per cup) and a tool to help remove the cups.

The major difference is that the windnoise and other external sounds are not feeling as if they are in my ear, they are nou outside the headphones. It is not silnced, so there is still feedback from the outside. I personally found it well worth the 20 euro they cost me.

No adds allowed here, so if you like the link to the company (UK), let me now personally. You will have to deal with them. Small supply in the NL as well available.

I bought a set of these off the back of seeing this post by @TdG - was a little skeptical that they'd make much difference given how simple they looked but I was pleasantly surprised.

Literally a couple minutes needed to pop the muffs off (tool supplied) install and refit, seems to have made the 105s a much improved pair of headphones 😀

Hi, and thanks for posting about these. I don’t understand how they work, are they spacers?  Photos would be helpful.  Thanks!

Been down this road before and I have tried all for regular head phones. One I swore would work were the fuzzy cup covers like they use for microphones. Nope, worked but still noise.. the best I found...a full hoody and a rain proof hood over that, and all has to be pulled tight around the face and neck. Great for fall/winter/spring.. summer nope.

I tend to go out in terrible weather with crashing waves and pre-hurricane winds. I use the same setup as you mentioned with pretty good results.
