I'm looking for information on a company that was located in Washington State that produced suction dredges in the 1990's called Precision Manufacturing.

I'm trying to locate their 6" pump seals or specs on them. If anyone can steer me into where to find these seals, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

I think it might be the same as the Keene WPS5 for the old Volkswagen mounted P1500 but can't swear to it off the top of my head. Note that what Keene has pictured on their websites as a WPS5 is not, they have a WPS3 in the picture. Here is the actual WPS5 but even that is for the pedestal mounted version sold now, not sure the old 40HP version was the same. Long story short worth a call to Keene to ask Pat or Mark.

I was a Precision Machine dealer but that was like 40 years ago! If you have a seal and bearing shop nearby hauling it in for them to look at might be the safest bet.

Thanks for your response, it's appreciated. I checked with Mark at Keene and he told me they had nothing that matched up, unfortunately. All i spoken with  feel they might be a stock seal but its difficult finding out who supplied these.

I had a look at the link you attached and it does look good but I will contact them to see if the measurements are correct for the ones they have.

Thanks for taking the time to contacting me.

If you have the old seal you maybe able match one from a supply company such as McMaster-Carr, or maybe Grainger.

Well since that is a link to a Keene WPS5 and Mark is saying no, it's unlikely. I have a lot of old info from decades ago but unfortunately dredge companies were bad at giving you good documentation with dredges back then. It was like "hope you can figure out how to put this together". I don't think I have anything left from Precision at all that I can recall.
